Welcome to spooky season, where Christine and Emily celebrate by talking about movies that aren't especially spooky. BUT THEY'RE REALLY GOOD! Up first is Frank Henenlotter's classic Frankenhooker, a film that BOTH your lady hostesses have somehow never seen. They follow it up with its spiritual sequel, 2023's Birdeater, a fascinating drama? thriller? something? by writing/directing team Jack Clark and Jim Weir. Both are streaming on Shudder, so have at it!
