Bob Colwell at the TxDOT district office in Bryan says weather permitting, the six mile stretch will be completed in November.
The $17 million dollar project is scheduled to be finished in July of next year.
The project includes replacing the road base and five bridges, and widening the roadway to include shoulders.
Colwell says the stretch of OSR bordering Brazos and Robertson counties is in the design phase.
