Early this year saw the release of a landmark study from the American Psychological Association (the first ever guidelines to help psychologists work with men and boys) suggesting that aspects of "traditional masculinity" can be psychologically harmful.

In this conversation, Toronto-based independent journalist Anna Bianca Roach joins host Andre Goulet to explore why it's import to encourage pro-social aspects of masculinity, the role that clinicians need to play in working to address the needs of men and boys and whether the corporate cronyism of Justin Trudeau's SNC-Lavelin scandal and Old Boys Club politics is evidence of a kind of toxic masculinity at work in Ottawa.
