Accessing maternity care in Australia can be a complex and confusing experience for many women. Our system is fragmented and offers various care options to various people, with some women having more options than others and many women not having enough information about their care options to begin with. We look at the positive experience of one young mother, accessing a continuity model of care and hear from her about her experiences of motherhood, creating community and the power that kind and caring support networks afford during this momentous time in a family’s life.

In this episode of Pregnancy, Birth and Beyond, we are speaking with Serina Crinis.

You are tuned to Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond. Contemporary Conversations where Stories, Science, Traditions & New Ideas meet. Our show is coming to you from the studios of BayFM in Byron Bay and is broadcasting across Australia on the Community Radio Network, you can find us on iTunes and Spreaker and through your favourite podcast providers.
