Kevin and Troy have followed along with the XFL’s official Twitter account (@xfl2020) and basing their show on what the XFL is asking fans. The XFL wants the fans involved in helping shape how the game is not only played, but comes across on television. Ultimately, ratings matter. This means that fan engagement matters.

This week, however, the youngster and old man branch off a bit and talk about coaching in the XFL. What types of coaches can the XFL realistically get in 2020? Do they have to specialize in offense in order to make the league exciting? Do you watch two inefficient quarterbacks going against each other at football’s highest level in the NFL?

As Troy always says, “it’s about good football.” If the football is going to be good, the coaching has to be right there with it.
