In this week's interview, Earth011.com digs into the future of dirt with Brian Scott, CEO of PittMoss, a recycled paper soil replacement manufacturer. Using entirely recyclable materials, PittMoss provides better growth performance using one-third the water compared to peat moss-based soil products. Brian’s team won Shark Tank funding a couple years ago and is dedicated to reducing the mining of peat for garden use. PittMoss is expanding to build plants close to regional sources of recycled paper.
