Discover Songs of Love and Life by Zora Cross, a groundbreaking work that took Australia by storm in 1917. This remarkable collection quickly sold out in its original privately-published edition, leading to an expanded version just a month later. Crosss bold exploration of eroticism, her challenge to Victorian norms, and her poignant anti-war and feminist messages propelled her into the spotlight as one of Australias leading poets at just 27 years old. While she received widespread acclaim, her popularity waned over time. In this presentation, we offer the expanded edition, featuring four additional poems that were excluded from the original release, concluding the recording with these hidden gems. - Summary by cavaetProof-listeners AudreyL1, zavaa01, cavaet
