Originally titled "Stem", "Upgrade" (2018) is a phenomenal underrated low budget sci-fi film by Australian writer/director Leigh Whannell. Starring Logan Marshall-Green, Melanie Vallejo, Harrison Gilbertson, Benedict Hardie, and Betty Gabriel, the story is about technophobic mechanic Grey who turns to using a computer implant called Stem after his world is turned upside down.
