🦋 Peace & Blessings, as we say in ZOLA

This episode is for those who are caregivers. I’m sharing my trip to see my mom, who is in a Memory Care facility for Alzheimer’s. The visits can be challenging, but I’ve learned it’s all about managing your expectations. Mom may be in her own world, but she seems genuinely happy. What we discovered on this visit is that she hasn’t forgotten what brings her joy, and neither have we. The family has not forgotten the joy she brought to us, and that is the real “Payday.”
