Chris Joyner is the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Toronto Blue Jays. He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Chris coached high school baseball, football and weight lifting for two years prior to joining the Blue Jays as a strength and conditioning intern for their Syracuse (AAA) and Auburn (Short-A) clubs. He was named Minor League Strength and Conditioning coordinator in January 2003. Chris was named as Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Milwaukee Brewers in December 2006 and would spend the next four seasons in that role before returning to the Blue Jays organization as Assistant to the Minor League Coordinator for the 2011 season. He spent the 2012-13 as the Assistant Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator before accepting Major League position for the 2014 season. Chris is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
