show moreThe National Health Service in the United Kingdom recommends that children and teens should get an hour of exercise a day, but a study by pollsters YouGov found that two thirds of parents did not know that was the figure.
Only a quarter knew that recommended exercise time, and most people thought it was 46 minutes. It comes as more figures from the UK show that only 17.5 per cent of children are hitting that hourly target.
