Argo
Argo is a powerful film demonstrating how essential it is to follow the Spirit’s plan out of the world of perception and into the real world. To the ego, the idea of escape is seen as dangerous and impossible, but when the mind is ready the guide appears—a guide not of this world. The film is based on the “true story” of a CIA operation that “never happened.” The characters believe themselves to be real people in real danger, trapped in Iran with no way out. They need help.
Enter Tony Mendez, the CIA agent authorized to implement the plan of escape. Representing the Spirit, Tony arrives with a firm and direct clarity. He issues those trapped a whole new set of symbols designed to help them escape their fearful identity and free their minds. In this story, the window of opportunity for escape is narrow: delay does not matter in eternity, but it can be tragic in time.
There are times when we are called upon to simply listen and follow—without opposition—in order to save time. With trust, we overcome the doubt thoughts of the ego and are lifted high above the battleground to safety. Step-by-step the extraction occurs, as we accept without question the means given for awakening. Such is the escape from the war zone of the split mind. Listen, follow, and know that trust settles every problem now.
