Edd Moore is a highly motivated and passionate teacher and Eco Coordinator at Damers First School, which is situated in Poundbury, the Prince of Wales's sustainable community village in the UK. Starting from scratch Edd has built up an amazing portfolio of eco work at Damers and under his leadership over the last 8 years, the school has achieved the Eco Schools Green Flag three times in 2016, 2018, 2020 - plus they won Eco Schools Primary Eco School of the Year, Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Schools Champion and Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Best Group in 2019 – impressive, hey! The AYCC's high schools program uses a unique model of peer-to-peer education to ignite high school students’ interest in climate change and sustainability. Switched On Schools is designed to develop leadership and change-making skills and connect students to an action network to make sustainable change in schools and communities. The Australian Youth Climate Coalition is Australia’s largest youth-run organisation, whose mission is to build a movement of young people leading solutions to the climate crisis. Dr Ken Yeang is a pioneer in the development of ecological, bio-climatic buildings and is one of the leading architects and theoreticians in the filed of green design and an author of several key books on eco-architecture and eco master-planning.
