With all the assumptions, computer models, and changing of reporting/observing practices to align with preconceived ideas, modern climate science has become the equivalent of a middle schooler trying to stay home from school by blowing on the thermometer or holding it up to a light bulb. So many pieces of proof that humans are destroying the world, i.e. dried lakes, melting ice etc., are carefully selected from certain time periods without context for the fluctuations of nature. Due to our limited amount of time living, we tend to see the world as totally static; as if it were always the same because we have fond memories of something and project those memories onto a location that is always in flux.
