Hey there Floridian friends, it's time for your Coastal Waters Forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Miami.

We're looking at some choppy conditions out there with seas ranging from 6 to 9 feet along the Atlantic waters, coupled with winds of 20 to 25 knots. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect, so definitely bear that in mind before heading out.

The Gulf Stream is also posing some hazards, with seas of 6 to 9 feet and gusts up to 30 knots possible. So, mariners, use caution if you're venturing out in those waters.

Over in the coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, we've got a Small Craft Advisory in place until Tuesday evening. Expect east winds of 20 to 25 knots with seas ranging from 6 to 9 feet, occasionally up to 11 feet. It's gonna be a bit rough out there, so stay safe if you're setting sail.

And for those closer to Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef, we've got the same Small Craft Advisory until late tonight. East winds of 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots, creating seas of 5 to 7 feet and 6 to 9 feet in the Gulf Stream. So, keep an eye on those changing conditions.

Now, for the Lake Okeechobee area, small craft should also exercise caution, with east winds ranging from 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. The lake waters will be a moderate chop today.

As we move through the week, expect some shifts in wind directions and varying sea heights, so always stay up to date with the latest forecasts.
