Good morning, Florida boaters and beachgoers! Ready to dive into today's coastal waters forecast full of adventure and cautionary tales? Let's get started with the juicy details from the National Weather Service in Miami.

First up, for the Atlantic coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef out to 60 nautical miles and Gulf coastal waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee out 20 nautical miles and Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach out 60 nautical miles, we've got some exciting news. Hazardous winds and seas will continue to dance around this weekend as a low-pressure area moves away and cold fronts cross. So, be prepared for some rough conditions in the Atlantic, while improvements are on the horizon for the Gulf waters today.

And for all you adventure-seeking souls out there planning to ride the waves, be cautious! Small craft operators, we're looking at you. Brace yourselves for seas ranging from 6 to 9 feet and possible strong wind gusts in the mix.

For those sailing near the Gulf Stream, keep your eyes peeled for changes in location. As of Mar 23, 2024, the west wall of the Gulf Stream was spotted at varying distances from shore, so stay informed.

Moving on to the specifics, we've got a Small Craft Advisory in effect through Monday evening for different zones, with fluctuating wind speeds and sea heights. For example, near Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach, expect Northeast winds of 20 to 25 knots and seas building up to 7 to 8 feet. Hang tight to your hats and life jackets, folks!

As the week progresses, we'll see a shift towards Southeast winds, slightly calming the waters but keeping things interesting with gusts and moderate chop in certain areas. Keep a weather eye out and stay safe out there, landlubbers and seafarers alike!
