Re: Cheryl Kendy "Florida beaches empty." What livecam ? I'm a Floridian. North Florida 40 miles below Jacksonville. We're considered part of the south (thank God). The beaches are by no means empty. The high season, late May to late August/early September, is the "high season" when kids are out of school and loads of tourists head to Florida. During this peak time beaches can become crowded but those are the known/frequented beaches in the guide books. Weve over 800 miles of coastline. The known touristy beaches near the populated enclaves are crowded during "high season" but the other 90 percent of the beaches generally unknown to visitors are very uncrowded BUT by no means empty. Though if you get off the beaten path there are many areasa with beaches where you can be all alone with yourself and/or family if so desired. God Bless Florida - in my opinion the sanest state.

My Polish grandparents were from Warsaw/Warszawa. My mother's side of Norman/Irish (Waterford) descent. Found out my mother's grandfather's nickname was "Knocko". Sort of explains why I'm Kshatriya by nature. I joined the USArmy right out of high school late 1971, as Combat Arms, last active year of Vietnam era. I also was "concerned about a Communist takeover at a very young age....". It's been in the back of my mind for 50 years now that creeping Bolshevism could become rampant.
