I dreamt this morning that there really are prophets who can hear that one waking sound.......the living music of creation as it battles the darkness; and death. It is the sound of waters on the beach and blood on the sand.......set to the rhythms of moontides, and the subtle response of our beating pulse, mingled into a kind of saltwater symphony of life.......like the voice of life.......like the triumphal entry of all that is, into the twilight that is our lives. It is the music that proclaims, it is finished, even as we scurry across the sand.......even as ocean waves spread new life in these metered rhythms of new beginnings. There are prophets.......I know it.......who hear that beautiful harmony even as they are crushed in its terror.......they laugh and they cry together, for the horror that they see, and the hope in which they live. And they must tell others.......they must tell those few who also hear the music wherever they are.......they must tell them; so that they may know that the pain is not in vain.......so that they know that the cry of their always breaking hearts is vital to the continuing of the music.

I was quite young when I realized how evil the world was, fortunately when I asked my Mom where the exit was she had wisdom to tell me "oh no honey, you have to have hope"
