Def need a weapon camping and hiking. Largest I carry is a 9mm hollow point, if 13 of those back to back with an extra mag reload for 25 shots, one is already chambered on a 12 rnd mag, can't put down a threat I'm screwed anyway.

I'm drawn to Paul's text about some vessels have been created for destruction and some have been created for glory, honor, etc.. In my over 60+ years I've discovered that some people are just born evil, evil to the bone, demons in human skin so to speak - while others, despite the human failings of one type or another we all have, are created for eventual glory. The Wheat and Tares parable. The Wheat are the children of the King, the Tares are the children of the wicked one. I've arrived in the last year where I believe we are designated from birth (possibly pre-this-birth) for one or the other, Wheat or Tare, destruction bound or glory bound. There have been at least four points in my life where I should have been killed but He supernaturally intervened to protect me. His protection/Love is definitely a shield from death until such time as he appropriates. Jesus protects His own despite their human failings. I've experienced Him as absolutely real.
