Moose Screws Josh At Bound For Glory Guided By Post-WWE Gathering

Pre-Jordynne Grace (with Rachael Ellering) defeated John Skyler, Crazzy Steve (with Black Taurus), Fallah Bahh, Chelsea Green, and Madison Rayne (with Kaleb with a K) by pinfall in a Tournament final intergender six-way match for the inaugural Impact Digital Media Championship- saw a few minutes of it while Dynamite was wrapping up. Impact Wrestling has a lot of capital in Jordynne Grace and she has been in some title picture for the last two plus years. First the singles then tag belts. No suprise that she won against the group she faced.

The Sam's Town staging was very dark. Not sure why they blackened out the hall so much. Nothing Vegas about it. Feels like they're going for more of a Ring of Honor look while keeping a standard look like they have at Skyway Studios. Guess they didnt want to do any extra work to change the ppv look from the weekly tv look. Crowd was very good unlike the tired studio crowd from the first set of tapings with an audience.

1-The IInspiration (Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee) defeated Decay (Havok and Rosemary) (c) for the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship-They came back with a bit of the campiness while basically doing the Iconics shtick but not so over the top and annoying. Titles on the first day of the promotion I get it but that just shows me the tag titles are more props for a tag team without a lot of value in them. The prestige is in the Knockouts title.

2-Trey Miguel vs. Steve Maclin vs. El Phantasmo in a Tournament final three-way match for the vacant Impact X Division Championship-El Phantasmo is damn agile to start off. While MSK is enjoying tag team gold. Trey Miguel has been built well away from the Radicals trio with a good feud with Sami Callahan bridging this X-Division victory. Maclin had a good showing but he is lost with in a sea of wrestlers looking for a strong identity in the midcarders filled with former WWE midcarders.

3-Heath and Rhino vs. Violent By Design (Eric Young, Deaner, or Joe Doering)-Story of Heath vs VBD over control of Rhino. Taking a WWE lighty sprinkled mid card story and putting together a watchable storyline. I get why they have these storylines to warrant in the investments made and rebuilding the brand. The match was pretty short. Rhino was on the fence of joining Rhino but once he did the crowd popped up when he arrive for the hot tag and a quick victory.

4-Rich Swann vs. Brian Myers vs. Moose vs. W. Morrissey vs. Chris Sabin vs. Rocky Romero vs. Madman Fulton vs. Rohit Raju vs. Tasha Steelz vs. Rachael Ellering vs. Savannah Evans vs. Johnny Swinger vs. Melina vs. (The Kiss) Demon vs. Bryan Myers vs. Matt Cardona vs. Laredo Kid vs. Chris Sabin vs. Ace Austin vs. Rich Swann vs. Sam Beale vs. Moose vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Alisha vs. W. Morrissey in a Call Your Shot Gauntlet match. The winner receives a trophy and a contract they can invoke anytime within one year for a championship match of their choosing. Gauntlet match they call it but it is a Royal Rumble or Battle Riot. Noticing Ellering and Evans and how the knockouts division has a lot more size and strength than any other womens division. Johnny Swinger is some of the comedy there is in wrestling today. Laredo Kid makes a cameo. Too bad he's not in a singles match on this show. Too many wrestlers in this match and the whole match feels really rushed. Impact like to go intergender which they did first with Tessa Blanchard. Chris Sabin eliminates Austin and I feel like that will get used to setup a showcase feud. Swann, Morrissey, Cardona and Moose. Moose takes out Morrissey. Moose will get another shot at the world title. Morrissey will feud I guess with Moose over this match too.

5-The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) (c) vs. FinJuice (David Finlay and Juice Robinson) vs. Bullet Club (Chris Bey and Hikuleo) in aThree-way tag team match for the Impact World Tag Team Championship-I feel like the NJPW contingency has taken up most of the TV time since Slammiversary. It's been underwhelming when you pull these American stars from the big Japanese shows and put them in front of these smaller crowds. Interesting to see Hikuleo so early in his career here and he's only going to get better. Chris Bey i'm still on the fence on how he fits in the Impact wing of the post-elite Bullet Club. Bey's spotlight has been elevated to where I see Ace Austin where there could go option c someday or go for the world title. Good Brothers retain in screwjob fashion while the other four did all the work.

Minoru Suzuki is working everywhere and now that includes Impact Wrestling.

6-Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Mickie James for the Impact Knockouts Championship-Drama King Matthew Rehwoldt is banned from ringside-Deonna dawning a Pope like hat and royal purple to the ring. Mickie James wins in tough-fought match.

7-Christian Cage (c) vs. Josh Alexander for the Impact World Championship. This is Alexander's Option C World Championship match.-What an incredible feature of Josh this week on tv. Pretty good match and it had a whole lotta time. The whole build was pretty consistent throughout. Got into this match thinking that Josh needed to take the ball this time around. His singles push leading up had been done very well and then came option c. The card having both the Knockouts title and then the World title wore this crowd out. Striker is all water works, and then comes moose with the cash-in. Loved the finish. Moose new world champ!
