Stand-up comedian and podcast host Tom Segura is receiving backlash from wrestling fans for inflammatory comments made about the industry on a recent episode of his Your Mom’s House podcast he hosts alongside his wife—and fellow comedian—Christina Pazsitzky.

Taking the anti-wrestling status quo of reminding viewers that the product is fake, Segura did not hold back during an unabashed takedown of pro wrestling and those who consume it:
“I think wrestling is for [expletive]. But so many people like it, it is the [expletive] stupidest [expletive], and I think you’re a [expletive] tool if you’re like ‘hey man, it’s not fake!’ It’s [expletive] fake, and you’re a [expletive] idiot.”
