This week as the clock counts down Kirstin takes us through her weekend of big rides and runs in preparation for the Coeur D'Alene Ironman at the end of this month. With just three weeks out from the big day, it was a big coaching weekend with almost 100 miles on the bike total, a moderate swim and a 90 minute run. Kirstin talks about some coaching points she learned on the bike and discusses her fueling and nutrition strategy. You'll learn some key points with how to test your hydration and fueling strategy to see if what you're doing is working well for you. And of course, how to make sure you are leveraging hydration and nutrition to work with your physiology.
