Cindy Daws Mosley, the 1997 Honda Cup winner, was a multi-sport youth athlete as the 5th of six children growing up in Southern California. By the time she was a high school standout she had a decision to make - would she add to the star roster at University of North Carolina to assist in capturing yet one more national championship, or would she choose to lead a new era of pursuing championships at Notre Dame? Her decision resulted in Notre Dame participating  in three national championships. Cindy shares her fondest memories at Notre Dame as well as when she had to overcome foot surgery plus the lessons learned from competition. She describes the two other soccer players who are also Honda Cup Winners, Mia Hamm and Christine Sinclair, and distinguishes her coaches Chris Petrocelli, Anson Dorrance and Clive Charles.  After collegiate soccer and graduation Cindy went to Japan to play professionally. She describes the challenges of playing internationally for a year,  after which she takes the lessons she learned from sport into the business world as she represented Wilson for soccer and volleyball. Now married with four children, Cindy reflects on how she got into her current business, Sport Performance Mentality Coaching.  After 25 years in the midwest we welcome Cindy back to her roots in Southern California.
