Dr. Jeanette welcomes Dan Pelly, a suicide survivor and activist for finding hope and light in the face of darkness and suicide.

Tell Dan your story, tell me, Dr. Jeanette your story.  Telling your story will not make it a dagger that hangs on your head, rather, you can vocalize it and then others can also share their story.  In the process, there is no one that is perfect, there is no one that does not have struggles; we are all doing the best we can at this moment.  What we need to share is our heart and soul as the power of shame and guilt may try to take over.

Are we lying and putting a wall around ourselves and sitting and waiting in darkness for someone to knock on the door to reach us in a world we have created.  Can we reach in, bang the door down, slip notes under the door or take the door off the hinges to reach those who are in need of some tender care and love.

Can you do it?  Everyone matters!
