Where can we find perfect joy? So many people are searching for that perfect joy in places of pleasure or escapism, but is perfect joy found in pleasure? Or is perfect joy found in suffering? St. Francis would say yes to the latter! In fact, St. Francis would say that you can only find perfect joy in suffering. Can you imagine that great saints actually found joy in suffering. That would be like Saints seeing suffering as a fun ride or great meal. On the other hand, we see suffering as painful or humiliating experiences to avoid.
