Nicu Covaci is co-founder and remaining original member of legendary Romanian rock/folk band 'Phoenix Transsylvania', formed in 1962. In this first of three parts, Nicu talks about the early years of the band, with the Romanian dictatorship of Nicolae Ceausescu making it difficult for them to express themselves freely in their music.
