This is a market that grew by 17 percent to $3.7 billion in the U.S. alone in 2018, according to data from Nielsen and the Good Food Institute. And it’s expanding. We speak with David Lee, CFO of Impossible Foods about how the company now backed by Microsoft founder Bill Gates and well-known celebrities like Serena Williams and Jay-Z is preparing to “feed the population by 2050.”
