Anatoly Moskvin was a grave robber, but he didn’t just take clothes, jewellery or other valuables. He took the corpses too. Moskvin said that he felt sorry for the dead children and that they were calling out to him to be resurrected. He thought he could bring them back to life using black magic or a ceremony like the one he had been forced to partake in as a teenager.
