I loved every minute of this, at times I was near tears and then with the part with "This world is not my home" portion I ached with laughter. Man Seth, can you ever tell a story! I could listen to you for hours on end. You have your head on straight and you help me in more ways than you will ever know. Love and hugs to you!

So sad to hear if your father's passing and so happy you had a chance to reconnect without your divergent philosophies getting in the way. At one point I was too choked up to continue listening when you told the story of how your dad got up to give you a hug. My sincerest condolences. You're in my thoughts tonight.

This really moved me, Seth. I am currently dealing with my elderly father, who is in decline as a result of covid. While my relationship was not nearly as fraught with the conflicts that you experienced with your father, like most sons I have had issues over points of view for many years. Your story helps to give me needed perspective on the importance of this time in our lives, and how reconciliation with those issues can come in so many different forms. Wishing you peace, my friend, as you continue to walk this path and deal with your loss.

Thank you for sharing Seth! I lost my father 5 or 6 years ago... it was sudden and unexpected, and I'm glad to hear you got the time with yours before he passed. Much love to you and yours!! ❤
