This week is Teacher Appreciation Week! Rebecca Friedrichs joins Joe to pay tribute to America’s teachers. Good teachers deserve to be recognized, and there are lots of them out there. We need to support them.
Rebecca Friedrichs is the founder of For Kids & Country, author of Standing Up to Goliath says, policies pushed by the state and unions were what was destroying the classroom and affecting our kids. It’s not the teachers in most cases. It’s the system they are being forced to deliver. Common Core was supported by the union and the Gates Foundation. They eliminated history!
The only way to keep a Republic is with a well-educated citizenry. Removing history and dumbing down our kids is by design.
Unions are collecting $5 BILLION a year from teachers to fund and push a political agenda that’s harming our children and country.
Supreme Court sided with Friedrich agreeing that no one should be forced to pay and join a union just for the right to work.
Teachers are in crisis because they can’t discipline children anymore.
During the pandemic shutdown, parents who’s children are in public schools are having trouble and don’t feel they have the support they need. Parents of homeschoolers and charter schools have adjusted and are doing fine.
Teachers Unions were the ones who told parents that they couldn’t homeschool their kids because they weren’t qualified or credentialed. But all evidence to the contrary. Homeschooling has now been forced on parents and they’re seeing that they actually CAN do it and possibly with even better outcomes.
Rebecca Friedrichs is the founder of For Kids & Country, author of Standing Up to Goliath, and a 28-year public school teacher who led the fight against the divisive tactics, politics and corruption of teachers’ unions as lead plaintiff in Friedrichs v CTA. Her U.S. Supreme Court case paved the way for a precedent-setting ruling which freed all public sector employees from forced unionism.
