Darla, You're right to be concerned and make this connection. And yes, what goes on in the basement impacts the entire environment simply because of the way our homes are constructed. I would trust your gut that something is negatively impacting your health in this home. "Experts" are not trained in the health effects of mold exposure so trust your instincts.
