This time of the year is the beginning of the term or the semester in many universities and colleges around the world. Many are going back while lots more are going for the first time. 
I asked a few people to help me talk about the one thing they wish they had known before going to university or college. These messages are not just for those going for the first time, but they are also a reminder to those who will continue to navigate academic spaces.
