what about the opposite? the one who is spiteful against a believer over following the Sunnah ie they choose to be hateful instead of soft, understanding, valadating the families etc ( for whatever worldy reason)? ie their spouse (who isn't perfect), does something they can't understand so instead of understand or try to understand they hold it against them?. We are so delusioned as Allah) says in the English translation: ..... The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving thing). Would this include how we view ourselves? We trust the wrong people, love the wrong people, give loyalty to our nafs over the Sunnah, etc. Deceving thing could stem all the way to the cells in our beings, if we are not clear about the tricks of this shayton and this dunya. ie if we are busy with what others are doing and not taking time to cultivate and correct our own selves then, this can fall into the category of deception.
