We’ve been so conditioned to make a living and aim toward retirement from work so we can finally start enjoying life. Unfortunately as so many people have learned the hard way, it turns out this approach is not at all conducive to well-being or longevity. Withdrawing from the workforce and being a productive member of society often translates to reduced mental function, depression, poor health, and even an early death. Please don’t ever stop working – whether you are being paid or volunteering!
