On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman is joined by Any Given Sin, live from Blue Ridge Festival, live from Virginia International Raceway, Virginia.

The guy starts by talking about how awesome it is to be playing live music once again after the pandemic. Pipeman said it’s great to be back to normal again, as when he seen Slipknot in one of the first festivals after lockdown, there was no pit.

They speak about how weird it was for them during the pandemic, especially as they had just broken into the scene in 2020 and when nobody knew what was going to happen to the world, never mind the music scene.

They describe their music as dark and creepy and compare it to Alice in Chains. They say they’ve tried to write happy songs, but it just doesn’t work out for them. They clarify they’re not dark or depressed people, but that’s what comes out.

After Blue Ridge, the guys are looking to release an album coming at the beginning of next year, and they also have a lot of stuff in the tank that they’re not quite ready to announce yet.
