Gwen Fox - Having gone through the school of hard knocks Gwen has great stories of vulnerability, successes, failures, and strengths that make her into the award-winning artist and teacher she is today. She was the only American selected to show with His Royal Highness Prince Phillip at the Fermoy Art Gallery in England. Having won top awards in National Juried Shows, selected for inclusion in many art books, commissioned by the NSA to create two large paintings for their offices in Maryland and Austin Cellars Winery of California selected one of her paintings for their new wine label are just a few of her accomplishments. Her book, Create Brilliantly, is scheduled for release in 2020 Gwen's ability to inspire others is infectious. We talk to her about her passion for art and we dive into some of the not so seen details artists face and how it can keep them from achieving their dreams.

MUSIC MASH - Today's music mash has the theme of society and it's behaviors or perceptions and/or social conditioning we have faced as humans across the world. Here is the line up.

Mr. Wendell (A song about a homeless man who was deemed insignificant because of his status in life)
Pleasant Valley Sunday (A song about being socially accepted, keeping up with the Jones's and how backstabbing and fake we are. Want a modern pereception of the song - just look at any subdivision in the US)
Runaway Train (A song about kids who run away because of situations at home or not wanting to hear the word NO or anything else that they feel they need to run away from home for - what we need to realize is that some of these kids are tricked and hired as sex slaves)
Barbie Girl (A song about how women are portrayed in society, just like the Barbie doll. They do what they are told, and obey their man. It's a fake life but are forced to look good doing it. The song really personifies this conditioning and shows why it's wrong)
I'm Just A Girl (This is a song about the same kind of thing as Barbie Girl, but it portrays the society's view of women as weak and can't take care of themselves. It shows why this is a wrong view and way of thinking as well)
