Today we interview Hollis Crittendon, Executive Director of Choices for Recovery in Charlotte, NC.  Hollis shares his own harrowing and miraculous addiction/recovery journey and talks about the relationship between addiction, recovery, and spirituality. Twenty-four times in treatment, 30 + times jailed, one month in a coma, at least 5 overdoses, and a couple near death experiences...and living today to teach from it and facilitate healing for others. Unconditional love from "the other side" (and this side, no doubt!) changed the trajectory of his life, and can change yours, too. Hollis talks about how addiction and spirituality are two sides of the same coin. Both are a longing for connection. And remembering who we truly are is central to the path of healing.
