540: Eric Alpenfels is the Director of Instruction at Pinehurst Golf Resort and has been an instructor at Pinehurst for 33 years. He's also the co-author of the book Instinct Putting. Co-authored by Bob Christina, PhD, and Cary Heath, PhD, this book's research shows that  looking at the hole, "target vision", improves your distance control on long putts.
