Miami Mike likes the Lightning this year and thinks they could make some noise in the Atlantic Division, Tampa Lightning are currently in first place as of this writing.Miami Mike says the lightning have the look of a winner even though they have lost their best player Steven Stamkos for 3 months or longer . The lightning started 12-5 before their star player got hurt on the second period of Mondays game against the Boston Bruins. Mike says he hates everything about Boston and the New England area teams. Mike thinks the football season will be coming to end soon for him because he is a Dolphins fan and the lightning will be a team to watch this winter. The Lightning have a home game Thursday night Against the Anaheim Ducks who are in first place in the Western Conference in the Pacific Division and also hold the best record in the NHL as of this writing.

The Lightning have lost 5 games so far this season and three have been to Boston and been shutout twice by Boston , Tampa Bay however holds onto to a slim lead in the in the Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. Tampa bay will travel to play the phoenix to play a pretty good Coyotes team who is in second place behind Anaheim in the pacific Division.
