Yes, I had a Christian Scientist friend in high school who said her family "don't believe in doctors," and I genuinely thought she was kidding. Nice to know that the official stance is more nuanced than that.

My mom grew up CS and while didn't practice, was less inclined to doctors. And yeah, I'm glad they didn't do the wrong thing.

"For more than a century, our denomination has counseled respect for public health authorities and conscientious obedience to the laws of the land, including those requiring vaccination."

Pleasantly surprised to see that Christian Scientists are tacitly supportive of the vaccine.

I was listening to some his work from The Mission and I'm sorry I didn't pick it. Absolutely beautiful.

Tyson, yes, the gold-plated scissors performed their job perfectly. I have to join a 6:00 p.m. Zoom call, so I'll have to tell you more about it later. Maybe we can all meet in person at Kaleidoscope and I can tell you all at once.

Karen, can you tell us a little about the experience? Specifically, did the scissors function properly at the ribbon cutting?

Alexis, I was invited to the Ribbon Cutting civic ceremony for the grand opening of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles by the Hollywood Producer I'm working with on a Richmond WWII Shipyards TV series.
