In my limited experience arguing with an anti-vaxxer, mentioning the mortality statistics didn't help. But believing that she might not be allowed to volunteer in her son's school unvaccinated did persuade her.

Speaking as someone of the Libertarian persuasion, I'd totally be forging a vacc card as a big FU to the .GOV - if I wasn't also a firm believer in science. I don't think these mandates will be as successful as they hope.
