PATHOLOGICAL LIAR

Democrat Congressman Adam Schiff was just caught red-handed doctoring text messages related to the [sham] January 6th (J6) committee. The text messages were between Trump's former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Congressman Jim Jordan. Schiff had the texts because the J6 committee subpoenaed Meadow's communications for January 6 and the day prior.

Remember: This is the same Adam Schiff who spent four years lying about having information that linked Trump to Russia [he didn't]. So it comes as no surprise to find out that Schiff took the private communications between two American citizens, and edited them to help push his narrative.

Here's Schiff's edited version of Jordan's text to Meadows:

"On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all."

For context, remember that on the 6th, the Senate was meeting to certify [or not certify] the 2020 election results. Some Republicans were prepared to argue that there needed to be an investigation into the election results before they could be certified.

Here's how Schiff edited it: Not only did he misrepresent where the text came from, he edited what the message actually said...

The full text, which was sent to Jordan and then forwarded to Meadows, was much longer. Schiff erased most of the message and added punctuation where there was none in order to give the impression that the message came directly from Jordan.

of legal arguments for why Mike Pence had the constitutional authority to object to certifying the 2020 electoral votes from states where there was fraud.

Schmitz's full text began: "Good luck tomorrow!" with the 4-page attachment. He then provided a three-paragraph summary of the attachment. The portion in red is the only part Schiff presented:

“On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all the electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all — in accordance with guidance from founding father Alexander Hamilton and judicial precedence.

‘No legislative act,’ wrote Alexander Hamilton in Federalist No. 78, ‘contrary to the Constitution, can be valid.’ The court in Hubbard v. Lowe reinforced this truth: ‘That an unconstitutional statute is not a law at all is a proposition no longer open to discussion.’ 226 F. 135, 137 (SDNY 1915), appeal dismissed, 242 U.S. 654 (1916).

Following this rationale, an unconstitutionally appointed elector, like an unconstitutionally enacted statute, is no elector at all."

So Schiff presented an edited, out-of-context message in order to create the illusion that two Republicans were colluding to overthrow the election. When in reality, the message was a relevant legal argument for the proceedings the following day.

There's a reason Trump used to call him Shifty Schiff.
