We've got business travel, overstressed kids, Bridezillas, and sad semi-departures on our minds today. Here's a road-map to our conversation: 1:26 What's New With You? — We are all very impressed that Amanda can have two suitcases full of work clothes packed at the same time. It helps when your home office is Dress Very Casual. 3:58 Does Everybody Have to Go to College? — And should they all go right away? Should they all go to the absolutely most tippy-top school they can get into? Should they take a gap year? Is vocational school still something we should be thinking about? It's stressing us all out, and we don't even have to worry about how our 4.1 GPA barely keeps us in the top fifth of our class. (Read the terribly titled Atlantic article that got us thinking.) 21:43 Wedding Fails — Speaking of things that cost a ton of money and come with no guarantees, we chat a bit about wedding moments we'd like to do over, how easy it is to become a Bridezilla, and why you really shouldn't tie a Barbie to the bride's car (or make a wedding cake that's Barbie pink). 33:51 Parenting Roundabout Roundup — For a new weekly feature, we'll be finding things out in the world we like that are parenting-related in some way and sharing them with you. Mentioned this week: On a Night Like This by Barbara Freethy; a video about life skills from  ATTN:; the Young House Love podcast; and the Parents magazine Best of the Web awards. 41:45 Shameless Self-Promotion — Having selflessly promoted others, we now shamelessly self-promote: Catherine recently updated an article on walking games to play with your kids; Terri wants you to know that the Parenting Roundabout Podcast is now on YouTube; Nicole invites you to visit her Inclusive Class website; and Amanda has a blog post about a new documentary, Being You: Helping Your Child Say Yes to Life's Journey (as well as a semi-goodbye to participation in our group chats). Thanks as always to Jon Morin for producing our podcast and for our fun in-and-out music.
