Vincent Genna – What Our Space Brothers and Sisters Want Us to Know

In his 1972 classic album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust”, David Bowie sang
a song about “Starman.” The lyric went, in part,
“There’s a Starman waiting in the sky
He’d like to come and meet us
But he thinks he’d blow our minds
There’s a Starman waiting in the sky
He’s told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it’s all worthwhile.”

In 1976, the Canadian band, Klaatu, released their song, “Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft” which later was recorded and became a hit for the Carpenters.

In Steve Spielberg’s 1982 classic, “E.T. The Extraterrestrial”, E.T. enlists the aid of his human friend Elliott to build a device with which he can “phone home.”

All of these artistic endeavors shared a common theme…communication, in one direction or another, between those on earth with those in the heavens and other plains of existence.
