Robert Kopecky – How to Get to Heaven (Without Really Dying)

Most people believe that you must die to get to heaven, but those who have suffered near-death experiences tell a different tale; our quest for happiness and peace can be found while we’re alive. Although we might feel lost at times, our internal, authentic selves truly know why we’re here. Living through difficulties is part of growing into our authentic selves. The secret is in not allowing life to live you, but in knowing what drives you and choosing to live life on your own terms.

My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, award winning illustrator, art director and animator Robert Kopecky, knows this well. Robert had three near death experiences, and with each gained insight and perspective on living our best life in this life now. Robert explores and teaches about the lessons he learned. He shared his experiences in his first book, How to Survive Life (and Death), and blogs at BeliefNet, The Mindful Word, and Soul Life Times. He joins me this week to discuss his new book, How to Get to Heaven (Without Really Dying).
