A reminder to prepare for home isolation, in case you're struck by Covid.
The Student Volunteer Army is receiving over 350 referrals a day to gather supplies for families stuck in isolation with no other support.
It's working the Covid Welfare Support team in Auckland, and is seeking volunteers to pack and deliver 200 food boxes this weekend.
SVA Chief Executive Sam Johnson says people need to plan to have food in their house to last at least a week, if they catch Covid.
“A lot of the people we’re working with and all of the people in their immediate bubble, have Covid or to self-isolate so that's all your people who normally would help you.”
