Our petrol's costing us the most ever at the pump as economies rebound globally from Covid-19.
91 octane petrol is sitting at a national average of $2.39, just topping the previous high seen in 2018.
AA Motoring Affairs General Manager Mike Noon told Heather du-Plessis Allan as industries start back up it's having an impact.
“That’s just put a whole lot of pressure on not only just petrol and diesel, but all fuels. That’s on gas, and apparently it’s on coal in China and for generating electricity.”
