The Prime Minister has been labelled a hypocrite for posing for photos with people in Hawke's Bay over Queen's Birthday Weekend.
Northland MP Matt King's released five photos of Ardern, saying she wasn't practising the social distancing she expects us to adhere to.
But Jacinda Ardern says it's difficult when she's out and about.
"I have had situations where people have moved into photos closer than I would have liked.
"But I will continue to advocate for social distancing and will continue to step away from people in those situations."
A photo of the Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield posing with people was also released.
Matt King says when he posted a photo of himself posing with restaurant staff, he was contacted by the police.
