The shocking, true story of Jonah being swallowed by a giant whale has unfortunately been repackaged as a child's story in Sunday School for so long, we have stripped it of all its strength and power as it relates to prophecy. Tonight we will revisit the horror of the death, burial and resurrection of Jonah who went to Hell and came back as an amazing type picture of Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection. This is the gospel of the grace of God, and when we rightly divide what we read, it has incredible doctrinal riches for us here in the closing hours of the Church Age.
