Matthew Garth was born in Corpus Christi, TX and later relocated to the Hill Country at the age of 12. Throughout his years in school he was always participating in plays and talent shows. He knew from a very young age that he absolutely loved the business.

Matthew got his first break on camera for a music video by Sam Neely. Sam knew Matthew was interested in acting and gave him the chance at a role in the video. This really gave Matthew the bug to keep on going.

Shortly after Matthew had the chance to work with Tommy Lee Jones on the movie, Man of the House. Once he had the chance to work on that project he knew it was time to get serious.

Matthew then got in contact with Professional Photographer, Mark Roddenberry to obtain his first headshots. Mark and Matthew then became friends and starting traveling all over Texas shooting headshots for other actors. Matthew worked as his assistant for about a year until he decided to venture out on his own and start his own photography business. It wasn't long before Matthew became world published in magazines, ads and websites. To this day he still works in photography on the side.

Matthew's main goal is to create and produce motion pictures. He teamed up with his partner, David Duncan, and started Broken Camera Productions. They are currently in production on a new television pilot, Smoke N Love, along with a few other projects in the works.
